Slightly off the footpath
This gap in the hedge provided the best clue as to the possible location of the re-routed path through the fields here, but frankly it was a red herring - the path shown on the 1:50,000 map doesn't seem to exist.

Footbridge over the River Tern at Allscott
The Shropshire Way crosses this footbridge and winds along the River Tern for a couple of hundred yards. Today the river was running full and fast after melting snow and rainfall.
