The Batch, Ashcott
A small triangular patch right at the junction of the A39 serves well. Accompanying the named seat and noticeboard is a sapling. It replaces a large and mature specimen that used to dominate the scene up until a few years earlier. The post box is the newest permanent addition.

A pump on Middle Street

Ashcott's old water
This pump used to supply the water to the village in times past. It is a product of Joseph Evans and sons; they started up in Wolverhampton in 1810 and made many iron pumps for several applications. See Image] for their logo, cast into the pipe.
