New Houses in Flood Area
These new houses are located just south of Huntworth Bridge in between Huntworth and the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal which itself is only just west of the River Parrett. They appear to be part of the Lakeview Holiday Cottages built and run by the Notaro Group. On the cottages own website there is only one photograph of the outside of any of the buildings and nothing to state that half the site is a building site. I wonder why? On the Environment Agency Flood map this area is marked as a Flood Warning Area where properties are at risk of flooding.
