49 steps Steventon New Road
Part of an ancient footpath now reincarnated as a set of concrete and wood steps known locally as The 49 Steps. The path starts higher up and crosses the main railway line into Ludlow and leads onto the steps which drop down to Steventon New Road. The path is then picked up on the opposite side and that short section ends up at the road alongside the river Teme.
