An old chapel in Bomere Heath, Shropshire
Once, no doubt, a hub of village life, socialising, worship and social cohesion, but now looking slightly derelict, unloved and by-passed by modern generations.

Neighbouring chapels in Bomere Heath village
These two Non-conformist chapels, one Wesleyan and one Methodist, still stand next door to each other. I wonder if their founding congregations got on so closely? There could be great rivalry between places of worship, even of basically the same denomination, at best just friendly at worst a sort of feud. This situation argues for the more positive.
