OS benchmark - Grub Street bridge
A (rather elusive) OS cutmark in the brickwork of the Grub Street bridge; originally levelled at 107.424m above Ordnance Datum Newlyn. I searched up and down the parapet for a while before spotting this 'un.

Grade II listed. Listing number 1243123. Road bridge over canal. c1829-32. Telford design. Brick. with stone band and copings. Single elliptical arch, solid parapet and piers. 5 iron wall-tie plates, 2 in shape of large oval shields. Oval iron number plate on south side. 2 iron rope fenders.
