This postbox, along with a bench, stand by a field entrance on the south side of Bull Hill, to the east of Pilley village centre. I have a feeling it is a recent replacement box because I did not see it when I was last along here a year or so ago.

Pilley Street, Pilley, New Forest
The road in the foreground and the fork to the left is Pilley Street, the bend to the right is Pilley Bailey. The village is part of the open Forest and commoners stock (such as the white pony) are often seen grazing the verges. There is a large pond in the V of the road fork.
