This photo shows the bus depot parking area with on the right a row of preserved buses at an Open Day to mark 100 years of bus operation in Swindon. To the far left can be seen 18436 (VU06 JBZ) a 2006 ADL Trident with ADL ALX400 75-seater bodywork, 47 seats on the upper deck and 28 seats on the lower deck. Other buses can be seen in the background.

Entrance to Stagecoach Bus Depot, Swindon
This photo shows the entrance to the bus depot in Darby Close. The noticeboard on the right of the photo says "Welcome to Swindon Depot Open Day" with an image of a Ribble Leyland Titan PD3/4 with Burlingham 72-seater bodywork dating from 1957/8. It also has the small wording "Celebrating 100 years of buses in Swindon". To the left of the photo can be seen a single-deck vehicle 34564 (NK04 KZX) a 2004 TransBus Dart with Transbus Pointer 38-seater bodywork in the former Stagecoach livery.

Bristol bus at Stagecoach Depot Open Day, Swindon
This photo shows a preserved Bristol L5G vehicle 2388 (LHT 911) with a Gardner 5-cylinder engine and Eastern Coach Works 35 seater bodywork dating from 1950. It has a rear entrance/exit and Bristol's coat of arms on its side. The destination board shows it to be on service 421 which used to run between Chalford and Standish Lodge via Stroud and Stonehouse. A preserved City of Oxford Motor Services bus can be seen to the left of the photo, and a Stagecoach West bus to the right.

Bristol's coat of arms on a Bristol bus
This photo shows the coat of arms for the city of Bristol on the side of Bristol Omnibus Company Ltd vehicle 2388 (LHT911) which is a Bristol L5G. This is because bus services in Bristol were operated jointly with Bristol Corporation until the 1960s. Preserved Bristol RE bus at Stagecoach Bus Depot, Swindon (2))
This photo shows Bristol RESL6G with Eastern Coach Works 43-seater bodywork dating from 1975. It originally entered service as fleet number 169 with Thamesdown Transport in Swindon, but then transferred to Stroud where it was repainted in the Stroud Valleys green livery and renumbered 531. SD in front of the fleet number refers to its allocation to Stroud depot (SO8504).

Preserved Leyland National bus at Stagecoach Bus Depot, Swindon
This photo shows VAE 499T a Leyland National bus 10.3m (34ft) in length with 44-seater bodywork dating from 1978. The Leyland National was an integrally-constructed bus that was produced in large quantities between 1972 and 1985. It was developed as a joint project between the National Bus Company and British Leyland. This vehicle was allocated to the former Bath depot in London Road, Kensington (ST7565), the BH code appearing on the bus by its fleet number 700.
