A Pinehurst Road tree in early December 2014. I am grateful to Vieve Forward who informed me this is a memorial to Matthew Styles, aged 19, who was killed in 2005 when the car carrying him and another passenger hit this tree. The car driver was given a five year jail sentence and was banned from driving for six years.
