Six Hills
OK do you believe the OS who say that these features are tumuli or legend which says that these humps are lumps of soil thrown at travellers on the old Great North Road (just to the right of these humps but rather imposing nowadays)? It is said that these were thrown here from Weston Woods (Image and Image). Dick Turpin would have ridden past these on Black Bess on his ride from York to London.

Six Hills House
Six Hills House was originally an Office Building. Built in 1982 the building housed ICL which would later become Fujitsu in 2002, the building is located off Six Hills Way and just outside Stevenage Town Centre in the Bedwell area. Fujitsu vacated the building in 2008 after relocating to a newer and bigger premises on Gunnels Wood Road in Stevenage which is located in the Symonds Green/Industrial area. The building had been a target for vandalism in 2013 after remaining derelict for 5 years and travellers moved on the site in 2014, in January 2015 travellers moved off the site and it was decided for the building to be rescued as apartments. The building was a brown coloured building and when renovations and conversions of the building started in May 2015 the building was then repainted to white and green with colourful balconies. The building kept its original name Six Hills House which was completed for residential use in March 2017, by September 2017 the entire building was full up with residents and in total the complex has 150 flats including a rooftop garden and private courtyard garden.

Kings Court, Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Built in 1989 Kings Court is a 6 storey office building (Lower Ground - 4th Floor) and is a small business park built within one building. Kings Court was refurbished and redesigned inside back in 2017 & 2019 with two different interior designs to bring the building to a modernised working environment. Personal Background - As the photographer I worked in Kings Court for 6 months and found the building an amazing workplace environment and getting on with other business companies in the building and stunning views overlooking Stevenage Town Centre.
