Burcher Gale Grove is a residential street created in around 2005, as part of the regeneration of the North Peckham estate. The buildings are a mix of houses and apartment blocks.

A wintry scene in South East London. Calypso Gardens is a small park in North Peckham. The park, and Calypso Crescent are named in recognition of the large number of Afro-Caribbean population who used to live in the North Peckham Estate, which previously occupied this site. Calypso is a type of music which originates in the West Indies. The housing which surrounds the park is quite new, dating from around 2005 when this area was regenerated. In the distance is a chimney, built in the 1970s as part of the North Peckham Estate's heating system.

The main school buildings look to be 19th century. The school is on Burcher Gale Grove; it is not clear whether this street is named after the 19th century pioneer balloonist George Burcher-Gale.

Calypso Gardens is a new "London square", created in a part of North Peckham which underwent regeneration early in the 21st Century. The housing in the background dates from around 2005.

Built in 1870s as Gloucester Road School, just south of Burgess Park - famous alumni include Lord Harris, founder of Carpetright.

Until 2010, Tuke Special School was situated on Woods Road Image As of 2010 this replacement building was in construction, due to open in September 2010. It will "provide specialist facilities for all students with Profound and Complex Learning difficulties" according to the school's website http://www.tukeschool.co.uk/ .
