Weir on the Cleddau
Looking over the river to the back of Quay Street and a lovely old stone building crying out for restoration. Upriver is the New Bridge. The castle is in the distance. A fantastic setting that should be better utilised. How many towns have a castle, river, priory ruins and so much more? Haverfordwest is a lovely old town that needs a bit of TLC.

County Hall and fish ladder
The old concrete 1960s county council offices were demolished and replaced by this version in the late 1990s. Dismissed in the Pevsner architectural guide as "reminiscent of an over-blown Regency villa", a certain amount of imagination has been involved in taking advantage of the attractive riverbank setting.
