Blaenwaen baptistry in Cwm Dogwel
About 300 yards to the north of Capel Blaenywaun and connected to that chapel. Late-19th century open air baptistery, dating probably from the opening of the third Capel Blaenywaun. Set in a grassy enclosure to west of the road leading north from Capel Blaenywaun to St. Dogmael's.

Cwm, Llandudoch/St Dogmaels
Houses perch on the steep sides of this glacial ravine, Cwm Degwel, that runs down into the village. This land was virtually unsettled in the 1840s, but by 1891 formed a significant part of the village. A few of these cottages were probably 'tai unnos' (one night houses) characterised by the single dwelling standing in an enclosed garden. The ruins behind the bank on the left suggest there may have been a mill here.

Cottages, Llandudoch/St Dogmaels
Much of the village clings to the steep sides of the Cwm Degwel ravine with C19 workers' cottages and terraces closely packed in along small street and alleys. In 1994 there was a serious landslip that destroyed houses and necessitated major drainage and stabilization work. The post-glacial soil structure of the area is the reason for the instability.
