Glossop Road Public Baths – 3
Built 1877 as Turkish Baths on the site of earlier baths, occupying a triangular site between Convent Walk (right - the original main frontage) and Victoria Street (left). Municipalised and extended in 1898, and further extended in the early 20th century with a new frontage on Glossop Road https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7589218 .

Another view of Image, from Convent Walk. A group of four Geograph conference attendees (well, five including someone who had to leave earlier to ensure that the afternoon session started on time) has just left after a very acceptable quick lunch at this traditional pub.

Built as part of the terrace of houses c.1868, expanded and rebuilt 1931 with terracotta ground floor frontages. The pub retains much of its 1930s interior fittings and is Listed Grade II.
