Thai Corner
An excellent Thai restaurant on the corner of West Street and Friar Street. The building was formerly a hotel, then a pub. The shop to the left is a charity shop of 'Helen and Douglas House' a hospice in Oxford for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions.

Benchmark on buttress of Greyfriars Church
Ordnance Survey projecting bracket benchmark described on the Bench Mark Database at http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm1320. The bracket dates from 1912 when the survey line from Wallingford to Basingstoke was levelled as part of the Second Geodetic Survey of England and Wales.
