Arctic Road
A residential street to the south of Cowes town centre. Despite its unprepossessing suburban appearance, this street is frequently used by cyclists and walkers as it accesses National Cycle Route 23 between Cowes and Newport.

This old crane is no longer used but remains as a symbol of the boatbuilding activities in Cowes on the West bank of the Medina.

Hammer head Crane - Cowes
This huge crane dominates the Cowes skyline. It is situated at the site that was formerly the J.S.White Shipyard. The huts on top of the crane are as big as small houses. The crane is now disused but the site does not appear to be derelict. Any more information would be appreciated.

Crane at Cowes
