Heathcoat Street, Hockley, Nottingham 1
With the A50 (a.k.a. Lower Parliament Street) 150 metres behind, this is the view as this road ascends towards Goosegate (ahead) with High Cross Street being the turning on the right. The tall building with arched 4th floor windows and a glimpse of a glazed light loft - behind the white painted building on Goosegate - is the Adams Building, a former lace finishing factory that is now occupied by Nottingham College.

Nottingham - NG1
As can be determined from this picture - well almost - the Clumber Gospel Hall on High Cross Street sits on an island of land. Western Street to runs down its left-hand side, East Street its right and Kippis Street stretches behind it. Kippis Street seems likely to have been named after Robert Kippis, a Nottingham silk hosier in the 1700s.
