35 Warser Gate, Nottingham
Grander than the street's other former warehouses and, Pevsner remarks, "a puzzle". Apparently built in 1879 for Rogers & Black and one of the country's earliest steel-framed warehouses (and with concrete floors), but a surviving plan by John H. Kent is based on brick. The rich Baroque corner entrance scarcely seems to relate to the rest of the structure. Grade II listed.
Now flatted offices I think.
