Bend on Osborne Road, Jesmond
This is at the north end of the road, with large semi-detached properties in this area. These contrast with the rather earlier terraced streets to the south. The whole area was middle class housing originally, and still is a very desirable location.

Houses on Osborne Road, Jesmond
The residential suburb of Jesmond was built from the mid 19th century north of Newcastle city centre. It consisted mainly of terraced houses built for the middle classes. This part of Osborne Road was added at the end of the century, obviously with a rather superior type of housing.

Great North Snowdog Es Tu Costa, Hazelwood Avenue, Jesmond
The Great North Snowdog Es Tu Costa, apparently with a name that translates as "it's your thing" is located outside the St Oswald's Hospice charity shop in Jesmond. The Hospice has collaborated with the company which makes the sculptures to create the artworks and associated trail. At the end of the trail the artworks will be auctioned off with proceeds going to help the charity.
The Great North Snowdogs are sculptures which have been decorated by a variety of artists and placed in various places around Tyne and Wear for a 10 week period in the autumn of 2016. Together the artworks form a trail that has been created with the St Oswald's Hospice charity. At the conclusion of the trail's life the artworks will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to St Oswald's Hospice.

The Lodge, Jesmond
On North Jesmond Avenue. This was built in 1885 as the lodge for a large house, which has now gone. The large estates which once occupied this area were sold off in the late 19th century for housing as the suburb of Jesmond was extended northwards.
