Hemingford Road, Barnsbury: a terrace at the southern end
Along Hemingford Road the early 19th-century properties vary both in style and scale. The tallest terraces are at the northern, uphill end. Further south there are terraces with pediments (gables, you might say) rather in the style of Lloyd Square or Wharton Street (further south, in WC1: https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6954624 ). Here, as you approach Copenhagen Street, there is this cottagey little terrace - very attractive (to my eye, at least) because there has been no 'tarting up' of individual properties. The terrace is on the east side of the street, and the photo shows it caught by the late afternoon sun.
