Metrolink Tramway
Looking south from Withins Lane. Although the tram (fleet number 1023) is heading towards Bury, the driver has already changed the destination display to read "Altrincham", ready for the return journey.

Children's Play Area - Sealed
On the evening of 23 March, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced in a television broadcast that measures to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus outbreak were to be tightened further, with wide-ranging restrictions made on freedom of movement, enforceable in law. Many non-essential activities, including all gatherings of more than two people were prohibited. On consequence of this was the closure of outdoor gym equipment and children’s play areas.
