Manchester Town Hall Extension
One of the Oriels at the grade II* listed building that is the Town Hall extension of 1938.
This was one of the subjects of the group in Image - I did it after they left.

Library Walk (Mount Street)
Work on the £3.5m link between the town hall and library, is almost complete - but the automatic glass doors, closed from 10pm - 7am - and a gate at Mount Street, can't be installed until permission is granted. At a public hearing campaigners said Manchester Council should have sought permission to block the passage overnight BEFORE getting planning permission.

Manchester Town Hall Extension: Opening inscription
On the wall at the Mount Street end of Library Walk is an inscription under a royal coat of arms that reads:
