Metrolink Airport Line, Roundthorn Tram Stop
The Roundthorn tram stop has two facing platforms to the east of Southmoor Road, just to the north of Hollyedge Road. This is the nearest stop to Wythenshawe Hospital. It also serves the large industrial estate as well as nearby housing.

The Airport Line Has Landed
The new Metrolink extension to Manchester Airport opened to passengers on Monday, 3 November 2014 - more than 12 months ahead of schedule. To herald this, Metrolink placed copies of this poster at stops and stations across the network; this one is at the Roundthorn stop on Southmoor Road.
