Leeds Town Hall, concert hall
Leeds Town Hall was built between 1853 and 1858. The concert hall has hosted events as diverse as classical music, rock (including Queen in 1972) and, as this image indicates, formal examinations.

Leeds International Beer Festival

This is the view over Calverley Street from the seventh floor of the Metropolitan University. Great George Street crosses at the centre of the photograph and the Town Hall clock tower is seen just to the right.
