Church of St Trillo, Llandrillo-yn-Rhos
The 17th century lychgate and the Church of St Trillo, parts of which date back to the 13th century. St Trillo's church is in the centre of the urban sprawl of Llandrillo and Rhos-on-Sea less than a mile from the coast. The church was mentioned in the Norwich Taxation of 1254. It was whitewashed, to serve as a landmark for ships at sea. The church was restored in 1857; further work being done in 1873 and 1898. Gravestones in Llandrillo churchyard
Many of the graves have had their crosses and headstones taken down, ostensibly for health and safety reasons. However it does give a desecrated air to this churchyard.
