St Giles, Wrexham
The Chancel of the Parish Church of St Giles. The gates to the chancel were made by Robert Davies and are said to have been given to the church by Elihu Yale in 1707. He was the greatest benefactor of Yale University and is buried near the tower of St Giles.

Elihu Yale
This is the grave of Elihu Yale at St Giles Church, Wrexham. He was the greatest benefactor of Yale University, and his family hailed from Denbighshire. The Verse inscribed on one side of the grave says "Born in America, in Europe bred, In Africa travelled and in Asia wed Where long he lived and thrived in London dead. Much good, some ill, he did, so hope all's even And that his soul thro mercy's gone to Heaven".

Tower, St Giles Parish Church
The tower of St Giles, 147 ft high, is one of the "Seven Wonders of Wales". There is a half-size replica of this tower at Yale University. The tower contains a peal of 10 bells which were cast in 1726.
