Keane in concert, Knowsley Music Festival - 24th June 2007
The Knowsley Music Festival was a 2 day event with British rock group The Who headlining the Saturday night and Keane http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keane_(band) headlining the Sunday night. It has never been held again, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knowsley_Hall_Music_Festival. Torential overnight rain and throughout the Sunday turned the parkland of Knowsley hall into a quagmire, see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1907901 One of life's experiences !!! - walking ankle deep in liquid mud, showered by fans throwing plastic pint glasses of mud around the arena, standing outside in the rain until midnight, a poor sound system and then having to wait for a tractor to tow the car out of the car park

Where's all the grass gone?
The normally lush green parkland of Knowsley Hall near Liverpool was transformed into a sea of mud during the 2007 Knowsley Music Festival by 24 hours of heavy rain and thousands of people trying to walk around the concert venue. It's not a proper festival without the mud!http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knowsley_Hall_Music_Festival http://www.knowsleyhallfestival.co.uk/
