Shops, Victoria Road, Elland
Both from the 1930s, but in contrasting styles. The one on the left is dated 1933 and is in an Art Deco style with 'sunburst' windows. The next building, containing is dated 1934 but is still in a 19C style.

Coronation Street, Elland
The corner of the library is on the right, and the Rex cinema and Central Hall in the distance, but the subject of this image is the row of semi-detached houses, a surprise so close to the town centre.
