FP686, Skircoat, Halifax
This footpath runs past the ends of several terraces of houses off Manor Drive. It runs in a straight line from Manor Heath Road to Free School Lane. It does not seem to have been an old field path, as it is not shown on the 1850 six-inch map, so must have been planned as part of the development.

Grass back street off Manor Drive, Skircoat, Halifax
These 19C back streets are usually paved with stone setts, but this one is grass, bordered by narrow flagstones. Perhaps there are stone setts under the grass.

This short footpath connects FP686 with West Avenue. It is the only way through from the Manor Drive houses to the later development, off Rufford Road, to the west.
