At the junction with Burton Constable Road, aka Pasture Lane, the Police Station, 1849, by H.F. Lockwood of Kingston upon Hull. The building included a magistrates' room for the Middle Division of Holderness. The police station was discontinued circa 1970; the magistrates last met at Sproatley in 1995. The building, now known as The Old Court House, has since been occasionally used for other purposes; it is presently occupied by a property development company. Sproatley Courthouse
Combined police station and magistrates' room for the Middle Division of Holderness at the junction of Aldbrough Road and Burton Constable Road, Sproatley, built in 1849 to designs by H. F. Lockwood of Hull on land given to the village by Sir Thomas Constable. The police station was discontinued in about 1970 and magistrates last met at Sproatley in 1995. The building stood empty in 1999 but is now in use again, possibly as a private house.

The Court House at Sproatley
This impressive building stands on the corner at the junction of Burton Constable Road with the B1238 road to Albrough. It was built in 1849 to serve as a police station and magistrates' room for the Middle Division of Holderness. The police station was discontinued circa 1970 and the magistrates last met at Sproatley in 1995.
