Porthouse Farm Industrial Estate Sewage Pumping Station in Bromyard
The green box near a bend in Station Road is a sewage pumping station.
A warning on the other side of the box states that potentially explosive atmospheres exist on this site below ground level. This is Welsh Water Asset number 32811. When Welsh Water was founded in 1989, one of the public sector undertakings it took over was the Herefordshire Water Board in England.

Did not come close since there was a closed gate in the distance. This building is one of my favourite timber-frame structures in the town, and the lane leading up to it in this Autumn setting looks nice.

Wool Growers, Bromyard
Light industrial yard adjacent to the former trackbed of the Bromyard-Leominster railway line, closed in 1952, about a half-mile north of Bromyard's station. The two sites are now linked by a road along the old railway formation.
