Winston Churchill at Guildford
The locomotive depot at Guildford extended along the west side of the station.
The locomotive is a Battle of Britain class Bulleid pacific, 34051 Winston Churchill. A few months previously it had hauled Churchill's funeral train from Waterloo to Bladon.
