Telephone Exchange, Virginia Water
Situated on the B389 Christchurch Road, this TE would appear to date from the postwar era, although it has been extended at the back more recently. It used to take the name Wentworth after the golf course nearby. The wording "TELEPHONE EXCHANGE" can be seen on the wall to the left of the photo, although "Telecom Building" would perhaps be a more accurate description these days. This TE has (01344) 84xxxx numbers, the (01344) referring to the Ascot group of TEs, and its postcode is GU25 4PT.

Virginia Water - House in Spring Woods
Famous Wentworth estate built by W G Tarrant.
A lot of the original 1920's houses are now replaced with bigger houses in various styles.
The landscaping is now over 90 years old so many mature trees surround the houses.
