Restored bottle kiln at Farnham Pottery
The Pottery was founded by Absalom Harris in 1872 and for more than a century a wide range of specialist architectural, garden and domestic wares has been fired in the kilns at Wrecclesham, near Farnham, Surrey. In its heyday, the Pottery operated its own clay pits, had four working kilns and employed up to 30 men. http://www.farnhamtrust.org.uk/current%20projects.html

Echo Barn Lane, Wrecclesham
I couldn't find out much about this place: I was hoping to find out some information about the etymology of the name, but Googling street names these days simply brings up hundreds of pages of how-much-is-property-on-xxxxx-worth type pages.I did manage to find out that Johanna Weber, the naturalised British aerodynamicist and mathematician, lived on this street, next door to her colleague Dietrich Kuchemann, until her death at the age of 104 in October 2014. And that the open grassy area on which I stood to take this picture is used by people as an informal car park, causing despondency among those who live here and leading to a campaign by a local councillor. And, of course, that the average price for houses here is getting on for half a million pounds. Yikes!
