Walton House, Churchill Grove, Tewkesbury
The east front is an accomplished composition, distinguished by a full-height relieving arch recessed in the projecting pedimented centre. It was built for Nicholas Smithsend, c1790. The entrance was moved to the west for Lt Col. H.G. Webb, c1880. Grade II listed.

Walton House
Walton House was a country house built in the late 18th or early 19th century, possibly designed by George Byfield. It used to stand in its own grounds but 20th century building has encouraged around it. In the early 20th century it was the home of Scobell family, grandparents of the romantic author Barbara Cartland. According Pevsner and Brooks the house was built for Nicholas Smithsend.
