A predominantly blue pub covered in artwork, including the figure of Jimi Hendrix and a pink octopus. The pub has since closed, suffered a fire and been repainted so anyone wishing to see a pink octopus will need artificial stimulants.

Christ Church
This church on the junction of Montpellier and Brunswick Square has had more than one change over its life. It was originally built in 1823 "in a plain neo-classical style". However, the front of it was rebuilt in 1900 in Italian Romanesque style. At that early time the Gloucester spa was a prominent attraction and the local area grew up with serving the patrons in mind. It's believed the church was dedicated to Holy Trinity, but in 1979 the title was changed to "Christ Church at the Spa", hence the connection. Inside, the church features a vaulted ceiling, Art Nouveau decorated apse and semi-dome. There is also a Nicholson organ dating back to 1866. See Image] for another view of the impressive west front.

The light extinguished
Christ Church seems to still be active, but clearly needs a few little touches to return it to full order. This light is on the 1900 extension to the west front. See Image] for more views of this Italian Romanesque addition.
