The River Carron at Glensburgh
Just over three miles away is the Longannet power station, situated on the north bank of the Firth of Forth near Kincardine. At the time of its completion in 1970 it was the largest power station in Europe. It had a generating capacity of 2,400 megawatts, the chimney is 183 m (600 ft) in height.
Longannet power station closed on 24 March 2016 after failing to win a contract from the National Grid.

Dalgrain Road
Looking down one of two parallel roads in Glensburgh, this one with the Auld Toll public house is residential here and serves industrial areas further north, the other is a busy road heading for Grangemouth, and linking the docks with the M9 motorway.
