A tall late Georgian house. It appears to have been enthusiastically re-pointed (not tuck-pointed as the picture may suggest at first glance). Grade II listed.
Possibly serving as the presbytery of the adjacent Sacred Heart.

Built by Leonard Stokes, 1881 onwards. The north west tower was only completed in 1926.

"The inside walls are of varied stone from Poccombe quarries with Bath stone dressing. The columns up the aisles are of Portland stone with brown Poccombe stone above. The stained glass windows down the side of the north aisle were installed to commemorate the golden jubilee of the church's opening."
