Zeppelin raid commemorated, Farringdon Road
This plaque is at knee level, below a shop window on the west side of Farringdon Road. The building is one of a terrace of Victorian shops with several storeys above; rebuilt, it blends in with all the others with no sign it was destroyed, apart from this plaque and its name - Zeppelin House.

The multistorey warehouses loom over Farringdon Road. The blue one in the photo still retains a crane, used in the past to lift goods to the upper floors. Part of this block was destroyed by a Zeppelin raid in 1915, see plaque from No.61.

Farringdon station
Farringdon station is full of interest, as here the two National Rail Thameslink tracks run parallel to London Transport's Metropolitan/Circle line tracks, making for easier interchange. Here a Brighton-bound class 319 train enters the station from the north end.
