Art Deco Tote board - Walthamstow Stadium
This greyhound racing stadium is now closed and the site is penciled in for housing development. I believe there are plans to retain this structure in the new development. Walthamstow dog track
The stadium closed in 2008 and was sold off to developers for housing, but nothing has happened since and it still appears to be intact, with even the clock still working. (Sorry for submitting the 5th picture of the same thing in the same square of the only subject in the entire geograph square - for now)

The famous Art Deco parapet entrance of Walthamstow Greyhound Stadium was built in 1932. The grand official opening was on 15th April 1933 in which the aviator Amy Johnson took part. The final race was in August 2005 and the site is being developed for housing. For a fuller history of Walthamstow Stadium see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walthamstow_Stadium

Neon sign on the ex-Walthamstow Stadium
The arguably best part of the building has been retained but a few years since any dogs raced here. Hendon Stadium had a similar sign at Staples Corner on the North Circular Road until the 60s with greyhounds running along the track from one end to the other on a continual loop. The new junction at the start of the M1 was built in its place.
