Fernaville's Rest, Whorlton
The Bridge Inn is no more, but has been reincarnated as Fernaville's Rest, which judging by the name and the shade of paintwork, has taken a distinct step upmarket. No more just a typical village pub, but more a venue for posh dining.

The Green, Whorlton village (1971)
The new Vauxhall Victor Estate was being run-in prior to being leisurely driven to Kuwait; 4000ml through 9 countries in 12 days. It had Q-plates signifying 'for export'.
