Nutbrook Trail
Former mineral railway line serving collieries an ironworks in the area to the west of Ilkeston, it has been converted into a walking and cycling trail and is part of Sustrans route 67. Looking northeast from near the Oakwell Brickworks site.

Path across waste ground
Running across the site of the former Oakwell Brickworks. These ceased operation in the 1960s and the site is now totally overgrown. Although it is clearly marked as private property, access is through modern kissing gates, so the area is freely accessible.
