Riddings Junior School
The original Victorian building fronted by a new classroom and office block, opened in 2017. The impressive gateway was not originally part of the school, but even old OS maps give no indication of the building to which it belonged.

Riddings Park
Cricket ground in the centre with football field to the left. The park was created from part of the parkland attached to Riddings House. The Cricket Club has played on this site since 1847, while it was still privately held by the Oakes family, making it probably the oldest cricket club in Derbyshire. The land was sold by the Oakes family to Amber Valley Council in 1981.
