Roes Lane Crich
Crich is a small village that has many old quarries around it. It is also where the Crich Tramway Museum is found. This is a very interesting place that houses many old trams which are run up and down the tramlines in one of the old quarries. It also has the facade of the old "Assembly Rooms" from Derby as well as many other points of interest.

Crich Market Cross
The cross is at the junction of Cromford Road, Roes Lane & Bowns Hill; the latter two roads being part of the B5035 Alfreton to Wirksworth road. Engraved on the back of the cross are the words "Restored 1871". In fact it was more of a recreation than a restoration, as the present stone cross was designed and made by local man Isaac Petts. The previous cross was described by a local poetess, Ann Perry, in the 1850's, as an old blackened wooden cross. Possibly the replacement was made to a somewhat similar design.

Crich Market Cross
The cross dates from 1871 and stands on the site of an earlier monument. The carved figure is of St Michael overcoming the dragon.
