Replica being built
As part of the work in Montrose Air Museum a replica BE2 aircraft is being built. This was one of the types of aircraft that flew from Montrose in WW1.

Railway Bridge
The bridge carries what was originally the Arbroath and Montrose section of the London and North Eastern Railway, and is now the Dundee to and from Aberdeen, over a rather wet track to Borrowfield Farm. Fortunately there is a raised pedestrian route under the bridge.

Mr Burke's Shed
Also know as an India Shed this is the northerly of three hangars erected by Major Burke relocated no 2 squadron from Dysart, south of the town, to the then Broomhill Farm. The hangar is still in use on an industrial estate.
