Dance school building, corner of Poole Road and Three Spires Road, Radford, Coventry
Rather attractive hut of the village hall type, at a street corner in a residential area of Coventry built up in the interwar period (1920s-30s). Was it originally a scouting hall, or an evangelical or pentecostal church? Whatever, it is now the Three Spires Dance School.

Pub restaurant at top of Barker's Butts Lane, Coundon
Formerly the Cedars, this 1920s roadside pub, with its distinctive Dutch gables and green-glazed roof tiles, has been back in business again since 2018 as The Lion's Inn, the stucco painted a drab green to match the roof. https://www.historiccoventry.co.uk/cph/main/pub.php?pg=cedars

The Lion's Inn, formerly the Cedars, Coundon, Coventry
The pub faces onto Barker's Butts Lane, by a roundabout, with Cedars Avenue leading off to the right of the picture. Another of Coventry's suburban interwar roadside pubs, this one is distinguished architecturally by its pair of Dutch gables offsetting a roof of green pantiles. St George's Church, Barkers' Butts Lane, Coundon, northwest Coventry
The church was designed by N. F. Cachemaille-Day and built of red brick in a modern version of the Perpendicular style. Dedicated in 1939, it replaced a wooden building of 1928. There is an interesting history of the church at http://www.stgeorgescoventry.org.uk/history-of-the-church.html
