Roundabout on Clifford Bridge Road, north Binley, Coventry
To the left the B4082 is a short link to the A46 Coventry Eastern Bypass. To the right Clifford Bridge Road heads south into Binley. The woodland planting screens houses and an open space from these busy roads. Behind the camera is Sowe Bridge across the young river.

The Smite Brook joins the River Sowe, Walsgrave, east Coventry
The Smite Brook, above centre, has come about 10 kilometres southwest from near the village of Monks Kirby Image It is named on the 1:25 000 map. It appears also to have a connection to the Combe Pool in the parkland of Combe Abbey Image Photographed from the Sowe Valley path.
