This application relates to numbers 45-51 Sea Road

It would seem that the building was being shored up, as it is next to the site where numbers 47 and 49 were located, as mentioned in Image The workmen were having a bonfire and the smoke can be seen rising above the hoarding.

These buildings were erected behind the hoarding, seen in this image of Image On the far left, of the frame, is a fragment of number 45. The wire fence and Portakabin may indicate that work is still being carried out to the buildings.

Planning permission has been granted by Thanet District Council under application number F/TH/18/0555 for the “change of use of existing care home buildings to 8, 2 bedroom flats, 1, 6 bedroom dwelling and a 26 bedroom supported living accommodation (C2) with ancillary creche.

Compared with Image, scaffolding has now been erected, which seems to indicate that the conversion of the house into 7 two bed flats is ongoing.
