Housing terrace on Court Wood Lane
This is one of the most original designs I've come across, designed to follow the contours of the hill.

Housing terrace on Court Wood Lane
This is not terraced housing as we know it, but terraced vertically up a slope, with one house above the other like a terraced field. I have never seen it before and looks very effective. Selsdon Wood is on the left.

A finger of suburbia poking into this otherwise un-built-over square. The bus stop is marked Selsdon Nature Reserve and is at the end of route T31.

Selsdon Wood
Selsdon Wood is generally level, or slightly graded. However, I have discovered three hollows, of which this is the largest. There is nothing to suggest that they are naturally occurring.
