Colchester Locomotive shed
At the London end of the down side of Colchester station was found the two road locomotive service and fuel shed. With electrification the number of diesels working in the area became far less.

This is the main ticket office, a modern glass fronted design, sited on the north side of the station. Train services are now provided by 'one' a brand name of London Eastern Railway Ltd.
